Working at Parliament: Nursery facilities
Parliament includes an on-site nursery for staff who work for the House. It is available to Members, Members' staff, House of Commons and Digital Service employees, House of Lords Peers and staff, Press Gallery media pass holders and contractors situated on the parliamentary estate.
It is a bright and modern facility with capacity for 40 children (aged three months to five years) and offers a stimulating and secure environment for children's personal educational development.
Enquiries and eligibility
To find out more about the Nursery or book a visit please contact the Nursery x020 7219 1592. The nursery staff will be able to let you know about availability of places and can supply an application form if required.
The nursery facility is available to MPs, MPs' staff, House of Commons and Digital Service employees, House of Lords Peers and staff (including the grandchildren of these pass holders and their grandparents), Press Gallery media pass holders and contractors situated on the parliamentary estate.
Visits and tours
If you would like a visit you will be taken round the nursery facility by one of the staff and end the tour by meeting the Nursery Manager.
Visits can be arranged Monday to Friday at 10.30am, for 30 minutes, and at 2.30pm, for 30 minutes. The visit times have been set up around the feeding and sleeping arrangements at the nursery.

Costs
Standard fees for House of Commons Nursery. Childcare vouchers also welcome. All fees are per month.

Service provider
The contracted service providers are London Early Years Foundation (LEYF), a Westminster based organisation established in 1903. LEYF are rated as ‘Outstanding' by Ofsted.
OFSTED report
OFSTED inspected the nursery in February 2022, and it was rated as ‘Outstanding'.
