Named Day

'Named day' questions only occur in the House of Commons. The MP tabling the question specifies the date on which they should receive an answer. MPs may not table more than five named day questions on a single day.

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what his assessment is of the effectiveness of the EU-China Human Rights Dialogue.

We understand the next EU/China Human Rights Dialogue will be held before the end of the year. Our assessment is that the EU/China Dialogue, like our bilateral dialogue, is a valuable opportunity to share the full range of human rights concerns with China in a frank manner.
