Series of monthly free talks about Big Ben and the Elizabeth Tower extended

The monthly free talks about Big Ben and the Elizabeth Tower continue on Thursday mornings from 26 July 2018.

These entertaining and informative hour-long presentations, given by members of the Big Ben team, cover the history and workings of this famous clock and iconic tower and are followed by a short question and answer session.

Times and availability

Confirmed dates for the ‘Big Ben and the Elizabeth Tower’ talks are

  • 25 October 2018 - tickets available shortly

Further dates will be announced shortly.

The talks will commence at 10.30am in the Jubilee Room, just off Westminster Hall. Ticket holders should allow sufficient time to pass through the airport style security, and are welcome to enter from 9.30am.

In addition to attending the talk, visitors can take one of the audio or guided tours which run Monday to Saturday between 26 July and 1 September, or watch debates from the public galleries on days when the Houses are sitting.

Places for these talks are limited and the free tickets must be booked in advance, either online or by calling our Bookings Team on +44 (0)20 7219 4114 (lines open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm).

Please be aware that booking is for a talk only. Big Ben and the Elizabeth Tower tours are now suspended due to essential works needed to refurbish and repair the Elizabeth Tower and Great Clock.
