The popular series of free talks about Big Ben and the Elizabeth Tower continues this October, with more dates added.
These entertaining and informative hour-long presentations, given by members of the Big Ben team, cover the history and workings of this famous clock and its iconic tower and are followed by a short question and answer session.
Times and availability
Confirmed dates for the ‘Big Ben and the Elizabeth Tower’ talks are:
- 2, 4, 5 and 25 October 2018
Further dates will be announced shortly.
The talks commence at 10.30am in the Jubilee Room, just off Westminster Hall. Ticket holders should allow sufficient time to pass through the airport style security, and are welcome to enter from 9.30am.
Visitors on 2, 4 and 5 October can also experience the Voice & Vote: Women’s Place in Parliament exhibition which marks 100 years since women were first allowed to vote.
Visitors on 25 October are welcome to watch debates from the public galleries.

Places for these talks are limited and the free tickets must be booked in advance, either online or by calling our Bookings Team on +44 (0)20 7219 4114 (lines open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm).
Please be aware that booking is for a talk only. Big Ben and the Elizabeth Tower tours are now suspended due to essential works needed to refurbish and repair the Elizabeth Tower and Great Clock.
