Dissolution of Parliament

The dissolution of Parliament took place on Thursday 30 May 2024. All business in the House of Commons and House of Lords has come to an end. There are currently no MPs and every seat in the Commons is vacant until after the general election on 4 July 2024.

Your 90 minute tour in English includes the House of Commons, House of Lords and Westminster Hall.

Please note that all guides will be wearing a mask throughout the tour in line with the current public health risk assessment for UK Parliament.

Guides will be using microphones which transmit to headsets provided to all visitors and which can also be used with hearing loops.
