Dissolution of Parliament

The dissolution of Parliament took place on Thursday 30 May 2024. All business in the House of Commons and House of Lords has come to an end. There are currently no MPs and every seat in the Commons is vacant until after the general election on 4 July 2024.

House of Lords Gift Shop

Make the most of your trip to the House of Lords by visiting our gift shop. It is located on the ground floor, next to our venues.

Opening hours are Monday to Thursday, 11:00am to 8:00pm and Friday 11:00am to 3:00pm. We can also arrange to open the shop at the time of your event with a minimum spend of £350.

We stock a wide range of exclusive merchandise which can be ordered in advance for your event. We can also personalise many of our gifts. Please contact the shop direct on +44 (0)20 7219 5168.  A small selection of House of Lords merchandise is available from the online Parliament gift shop.

Audio visual packages

Our audio visual supplier Kinly provide high-quality specialist audio visual equipment to our venue. This includes microphones, HD screens and technical support. Bespoke audio visual packages have also been specifically created to suit some of our larger event spaces.

We have a range of flower arrangements available for use at our events. Table centrepieces, pedestal displays and bouquets are available from our standard selection.

Event oganisers are reminded that if they seek to use their own florists, they must comply with the conditions of entry prescribed by the House of Lords Sales and Events OfficeCEVA logisticsHouses of Parliament Security and Police operations.

Event orgnaisers are also reminded that when ordering flowers from our Floristry partners, WindowFlowers, items such as vases or other glassware are to be left at the House of Lords as they belong to WindowFlowers and are only given to our venue on a loan-basis.
