The dissolution of Parliament took place on Thursday 30 May 2024. All business in the House of Commons and House of Lords has come to an end. There are currently no MPs and every seat in the Commons is vacant until after the general election on 4 July 2024.

Alternatively the Jubilee Shop, located just off Westminster Hall, is open to all visitors to UK Parliament. 

Opening hours when UK Parliament is in session are:

  • 10:00am to 7:00pm, Monday to Friday
  • 10:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday

Opening hours in Parliamentary recesses are:

  • 10:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Saturday

The Parliament gift shop website offers a selection of House of Commons and Houses of Parliament gifts, political books and Parliamentary documents.  Delivery can be arranged direct to UK and overseas addresses and will be charged according to the total value of each order.
