I am writing to request the breakdown of all communications received by the Speaker's Office with respect to his statement on Westminster Hall on 6th February 2017. I would like know the total number of communications received broken down into those which support the Speaker's stance, and those who are opposed to it

This figure comprises 402 letters and 3679 e-mails.

3227 of the total number of communications received support Mr Speaker’s position. This figure comprises 281 letters and 2946 e-mails.

854 of the total number of communications received do not support Mr Speaker’s position. This figure comprises 121 letters and 733 e-mails.
