- Please provide a copy of any correspondence either paper or electronically received by the Speakers office from any government minister requesting the recall of Parliament to debate the event and subsequently needed legislation, pursuant to a trade deal with the European Union?
- Further to the above might I also seek a copy of any response that was sent with the Speaker’s decision?

Information to respond to your request is held by the House of Commons. The House holds no correspondence directly between the Speaker’s Office and a Government Minister relating to the recall of Parliament on 31 December 2020. However, the House does hold a letter from the office of the Prime Minister requesting that the House of Commons be recalled on 30 December 2020. - Further to the above might I also seek a copy of any response that was sent with the Speaker’s decision?
