MPs IT equipment (2021)
Request
I would like a list of all IT loan equipment issued to MPs after the 2017 general election, that was not returned by MPs who were either defeated or stood down at the election in December 2019.
Could this information include the name of the member who was originally allocated the equipment and the estimated value.
Response
This information is held by the House of Commons.
‘Net book value’ refers to the estimated value of the items, taking into account depreciation.
It may help you to know that at the end of the 2020/21 financial year, any outstanding IT equipment not returned by Members who stood down or were defeated at the 2019 General Election, including those items listed above, was formally written off. At this point, work to retrieve IT equipment from those former Members ceased.
