Please note:

• The data below represents a snapshot in time. Efforts to retrieve equipment from Members who were defeated or who stood down in 2024 are ongoing with discussions still taking place. This does mean that the figures are dynamic and will change.
• The asset return process is completed once our service management database has been updated.  Before this, items may be in transit, with our supplier, at our offsite depot or awaiting collection/delivery.
• Equipment from former Members who are now Members of the House of Lords is being dealt with separately and is not included in this list.

2024 General Election

At the New Members Reception Area, new Members were provided with a laptop, an iPad, a headset and a rucksack on their first day in Parliament.

2019 General Election

The New Members' IT Equipment document shows IT equipment issued to new MPs between December 2019 - January 2020 following the December 2019 General Election.

Please note:

• The iPad issued to new MPs at the New Members' Reception Area (NMRA) is a loan and outside the Members' hardware allowance for this Parliament. It has been issued based on a recommendation from the Administration Committee Report First Weeks at Westminster.
• The iPads issued to new Members included a SIM card. If further iPads are procured by a Member, a SIM is not automatically provided.
• The data in the New Members IT Equipment document also includes laptops which were issued at the New Members Reception Area and other equipment such as desktops and printers issued for temporary accommodation following the General Election and then transferred to Members' offices.
• The information in the New Members IT Equipment file is a snapshot in time and is subject to change as Members may choose to return orders or place new orders.

2017 General Election

The following information shows the provision of IT equipment issued to new MPs. It is being published proactively.

The New Members' IT Equipment file shows IT kit issued to new MPs following the June 2017 General Election between June and August 2017.
