  1. Do you have a policy in place which bars staff from accessing/downloading TikTok on their work devices? If so, when did this policy start?
    This information is held by the House of Commons. The House does not have a policy specifically regarding TikTok.
    This said, it may help you to know that all House of Commons staff are required to adhere to Parliament’s Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) while using parliamentary devices loaned to them. This policy outlines the responsibilities of staff regarding their equipment in order to “reduce the likelihood and impact of cyber-attack, data breach and other illegal and damaging activity” to these devices.

    This information is not held by the House of Commons. We do not hold any information for this part of your request. As stated above however, all staff are required to adhere to the AUP when using work devices.
