Please…provide the following information, broken down by financial years 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22

1) The types of vouchers or gift cards that the organisation receives from Edenred, either directly or via the Crown Commercial Service. For example, Edenred lists the following vouchers and gift cards: compliments card, incentive award card, childcare vouchers https://www.edenred.co.uk/en/reward-recipients/

This information is held by the House of Commons. For the periods stated, the only type of vouchers which the House has received from Edenred are their childcare vouchers. Please note that these were provided to us directly as opposed to via the Crown Commercial Service.

2) Please specify the number of each type of voucher or gift cards purchased, and the monetary value of each. For example, the department may have received 100 vouchers worth £50, 50 gift cards worth £20 each

This information is not held by the House of Commons. The House does not purchase individual gift cards or vouchers from Edenred, and instead we make a monthly payment to them in exchange for these childcare vouchers.

3) Please provide the number of staff to receive each gift card or vouchers and the monetary value of the gift cards or vouchers provided. For example, 50 staff may have received £50 compliments cards, 20 civil servants may have received £20 childcare vouchers

Some information is held by the House of Commons regarding your request. We hold the number of staff who have received childcare vouchers during these periods, however, we do not hold a breakdown of the number of individual types of vouchers provided for the reasons stated in our response to Q2. To be helpful however, we have provided the total monetary value of all vouchers provided to us by Edenred during these periods.

4) Monthly payments to the company Edenred

This information is not held by the House of Commons in the format requested. This is because the House does not make consistent and agreed monthly payments to Edenred in a given period. Instead, payments to Edenred vary considerably throughout a calendar year due to House staff changing their purchases and involvement with the scheme over time. It may help you to know however that we do hold details of annual payments made to Edenred during these periods and, to be helpful, these have been provided in the table below:
