    This information is held by the House of Commons.

  2. What is the hourly pay rate (and/or annual salary) of cleaning staff that work in Parliament?
    This information is held by the House of Commons. Cleaners are predominantly  Band E2 and paid £20,766 per annum based on a 36 hour net week (excluding breaks the hourly rate is £11.09 per hour). Majority of cleaning staff work an 18 net hour week.

  3. How many of your staff (total number and percentage) are paid minimum wage?
    All staff are paid greater than the  minimum wage. The House of Commons was accredited by Citizens UK (CUK) as London Living Wage Employer on 25 November 2013.  Payment of the London living wage or the UK living wage is included as a condition within our Standard Terms and Conditions of Contract of all our contracts.
