Members training (2022)

Request

  1. The names of the MPs who have yet to attend The Valuing Everyone course, also detailing which political party each MP belongs to?
  2. Of the MPs who still haven't attended a session, how many are on the waiting list for an upcoming session and what are the names of these MPs?

Response

1) Please may you provide me with: The names of the MPs who have yet to attend The Valuing Everyone course, also detailing which political party each MP belongs to?
and
2) Of the MPs who still haven't attended a session, how many are on the waiting list for an upcoming session and what are the names of these MPs?

In the first instance please note that as part of the independent review of the ICGS, and as agreed by the House of Commons Commission, Valuing Everyone seminars have been updated and replaced with a new seminar for Members called ‘Behaviour Code: Why it matters’.”

This said, some information is held by the House of Commons regarding your request. The House holds the names of MPs who, as of 18 November 2022, have yet to attend Valuing Everyone seminars, broken down by political party. They can also be divided into the following statuses:

‘Wait-listed’: List of Members informed of upcoming sessions when they are made available. Members are generally added onto the waiting list when they have attempted to book onto the training but sessions available are not suitable to their schedule.
‘Not Attended’: Member neither on the waiting list nor booked onto an upcoming session.
‘Has attended “Behaviour Code: Why it matters”’: Member has attended refreshed course instead of the original Valuing Everyone training.
