Track and Trace (2020)

Request

  1. Can you please tell how much Parliament's own track and trace system has cost since it was introduced, as of 12th November 2020?
  2. And could you please give me a breakdown of this spending too?

Response

Please note that, while the House of Commons and the House of Lords are two separate public authorities for the purposes of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, the information below covers both Houses. This is because Parliament’s Covid-19 test and trace service covers the whole parliamentary community, including both MPs and Peers, their staff, the staff of both House Administrations and visitors to the estate.

This information is held by the House of Commons.

The direct costs related to Parliament’s test and trace service, as of 12 November, is £2,565. All of this is made up of staffing costs.
