Request
Please can you supply me with the updated brand guidelines for the House of Commons or UK Parliament.
Response
In the first instance, please note that Parliament is comprised of both the House of Commons and the House of Lords, who for the purposes of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) are considered separate public authorities. Our response only deals with the branding for the House of Commons. If you would like to contact the House of Lords for any information they may hold, requests should be directed to FOILORDS@parliament.uk.
The House holds the information you have requested.
We have redacted some names and contact details of operational staff, which is their personal data. This information has been withheld in accordance with section 40 (2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), as disclosure of this information to the public generally would not be consistent with the data protection principle found in Article 5.1(a) of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). This is an absolute exemption and the public interest test does not apply.
