When members of the House of Commons are sworn in after a general election or Demise of the Crown

1) Besides English, in what other languages have translations been prepared for members to take the Oath or Affirmation [to King Charles III] in those languages, i.e. in what languages have Oath or Affirmation cards been printed that the Clerk shows to members at the table when swearing them in

2) What are the exact wordings of those translations, of both the Oath and the Affirmation ; i.e. what exactly do the oath or affirmation cards look like?

This information is information held by the House of Commons. The House holds translations for the Oath and Affirmation to King Charles III in the following languages:


• Cornish
• Ulster Scots
• Scots Gaelic
• Irish Gaelic
• Welsh
