Please note initially that no bars managed by the House are open. All our answers below related to the restaurant and café venues managed by the House that remain open.

It may also interest you to know initially that under Tier 2 restrictions in London, alcohol was being served as part of a substantial meal in our Members’ Dining Room and Adjournment restaurants. Since the moves to Tier 3 on the 16 December and Tier 4 on 20 December no alcohol is being served on then estate.

   This information is held by the House of Commons. In the House of Commons a substantial meal is a main meal, such as those detailed in the menus for the Adjournment and Members Dining Room.

   This information is held by the House of Commons. 195 individual main course items have been sold in the catering venues that remain open.
4. In particular, how many scotch eggs have been sold in bars and restaurants in the month of December so far?
   This information is held by the House of Commons. Scotch eggs are available as a starter in one catering venue and has been for some years. 12 have been sold between 1 December and 9 December.
