Commercial Filming (2015)

Please could I be told how much revenue the House of Commons raised through approving commercial filming for

a) the Elizabeth/Clock Tower
b) other locations on the estate

in each of the past two years.

Please note, I am asking for a global figure rather than seeking to identify how much is being charged for each project, so disclosure should not harm commercial interests.

Please note that our response only deals with filming for which the House of Commons is responsible. Some filming may be the responsibility of the House of Lords, which is a separate public authority for the purposes of the Freedom of Information Act. You may wish to consider forwarding your request to them. Requests for information relating to the House of Lords should be directed to them.

Please note that the figures below comprise the recovery of costs incurred by the House during the facilitation of filming projects and standard filming fees.

The total revenue per year raised by the House of Commons for the Clock Tower and other locations through commercial filming for the past two years is shown below as:

a) the Elizabeth/Clock Tower

The total revenue from filming of the Clock Tower for the 12 months period to September 2014 is £16,250.00

The total revenue from filming of the Clock Tower for the 12 months period to September 2015 is £4,080.00

b) other locations on the estate

The total revenue from filming of other locations for the 12 months period to September 2014 is £31,000.00

The total revenue from filming of other locations for the 12 months period to September 2015 is £56,123.35
