Response

  1. How many applicants for recruitment/promotion posts in the House have declared themselves as having a ‘disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010 and being eligible to apply via the Guaranteed Interview Scheme'?
This information is held by the House of Commons. 1072 applicants for recruitment/promotion posts in the House declared a disability under the Equality Act 2010.
  2. What percentage of these were given an interview?
This information is held by the House of Commons. 12.68% of applicants for role recruitment/promotion posts in the House who declared a disability under the Equality Act 2010 passed the sift and progressed to interview.
  3. What percentage of these were given a job offer?
This information is held by the House of Commons. 19.09% of interviewees for recruitment/promotion posts vacancies in the House who declared a disability under the Equality Act 2010 were offered the role.

Please note that the Guaranteed Interview Scheme operates such that disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the role will be selected for interview, rather than all applicants declaring a disability under the Equality Act 2010 being automatically offered an interview.
