Portrait & Print sales (2020)

Request

  1. Can I please give me a breakdown of how many portraits and prints have been sold by the Houses of Parliament shop between 26th October when the new range was introduced and 25th December?
  2. I am looking to find out which portraits sold best so if you could please tell me the number of sales for each picture e.g. Margaret Beckett and whether any pictures or portraits recorded no overall sales as well.

Response

Please note that while the online shop is branded as being the Houses of Parliament online shop, it is operated by the House of Commons. Therefore the information here only relates to the House of Commons and for any information about shops operated by the House of Lords, you will need to contact them directly.

We have interpreted your request as being about the new Print on Demand service offered by the Houses of Parliament shop, which went live on 8 October. The information in this response covers the period from that date to 25 December.

This information is held by the House of Commons.

This data shows the sales volume for each print where there was at least one copy sold. The House does not a record of which prints sold no copies, but any prints that do not appear in this list have by definition sold no copies.
