The Medical Research Council improves human health through world-class medical research. They fund research across the biomedical spectrum, from fundamental lab-based science to clinical trials, and in all major disease areas.
The council supports MRC funded PhD students to work for three months at POST. There are also opportunities to work in the libraries in the House of Commons or House of Lords, or with a parliamentary select committee.
The MRC policy placements are now closed for applications. For more information about the fellowship visit the UK Research and Innovation website. You can also keep in touch with fellowship opportunities by following us on Twitter.
