The Digital Engagement Programme is a way for you to get your voice heard by MPs.
How can you get involved?
Take part in a live one-hour debate on social media where you can share your thoughts with an MP. They’ll be asking questions and responding to your comments live throughout the hour. Topics covered previously range from parental bereavement and the effect of loneliness to housing standards.
Follow @HouseofCommons and the House of Commons Facebook page to keep up to date with our latest digital debates.
Digital Discussion Cards
Follow the House of Commons Facebook page to see questions from MPs who want to hear about your views and experiences. You’ll be invited to comment with your opinions to help shape the debate.
You can find us on many external forums, including Money Saving Expert, TES, The Student Room and Reddit. If you’re a member of an online community and think we should join, please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How will your comments be used?
Comments posted before the advertised deadline will feed into a briefing that will be shared with the MP leading the debate.
Remember that your comment is public and if it is read aloud by an MP it will be televised and published in Hansard. Please make sure that you’re happy with your comment before posting.
