Sustainable Development Goal 5: Find Out More

The Houses of Parliament, in collaboration with AlphaZULU Advocates, is holding a public session marking International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

The event will bring together a diverse range of stakeholders to discuss the UK Government’s commitment to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5), and how policy and institutional coherence at National and International levels can accelerate changes.
Staff of the Women and Equalities Committee will talk about the Committee's current inquiries, including its inquiry on SDG 5, and how relevant stakeholders can contribute to its checking of Government policies.

There will be contributions from a panel including representatives from the UN Women and other organisations, to be announced.
