The dissolution of Parliament took place on Thursday 30 May 2024. All business in the House of Commons and House of Lords has come to an end. There are currently no MPs and every seat in the Commons is vacant until after the general election on 4 July 2024.

What are the challenges of charity governance?

On Tuesday 1 November, the Select Committee on Charities holds two evidence sessions on governance. In the first session, the Committee hears from Lord Hodgson of Astley Abbotts CBE and Professor John Mohan, Director of the Third Sector Research Centre. The second session puts questions to representatives of Clore Social Leadership, Y Bont and Brooks.
