Visits for schools and groups
Short notice spaces are often available for schools from across the country to visit UK Parliament during term time. In school holidays, the Education Centre stays open for youth groups (e.g. uniformed organisations) to visit.
Please email email@example.com call 020 7219 4496 to find out more and book a visit. Your group may also be eligible for a transport subsidy to help with the costs of travelling to and from London.
Short notice education visits
Short notice spaces are often available for schools from across the country to visit UK Parliament and see democracy in action. After going on a tour, pupils aged 6-18 learn more at a workshop inside the award-winning Education Centre, which uses interactive 360° projections, voting pods and tablets. There should be 18-36 people in the group (including adults).
The workshops link to subjects across UK curricula and cover a range of themes, including law-making, debating and campaigning. They often include the opportunity to meet your MP or a member of the House of Lords.
The Story of Parliament visit is 1 hour 30 minutes and includes a film and tour. All other visits are 2 hours 15 minutes and include a workshop. Find out more about the different workshops.
School holiday education visits
During school holidays, youth groups (e.g. uniformed organisations) can go on the 1 hour 30-minute Story of Parliament visit. They will watch a 360° immersive film inside the Education Centre and take a guided tour of the Palace of Westminster. There should be at least seven people in the group (including adults).
Some available dates have specific workshops and start times available, others have a wider choice and our staff can assist you. Please keep an eye on this page for any cancellations.
