The World Health Organization’s Global Advisory Committee on Vaccine Safety publishes a summary outcome of its vaccine safety reviews on a six-monthly basis. The outcome of the Committee’s most recent review of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine safety was published on 14 July 2017. A copy of the Weekly epidemiological record is attached, which summarises the latest six month review. This review found no new adverse events of concern for HPV vaccine based on many very large, high quality studies.
