Adoption and Foster Care: EU Nationals
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what assessment his Department has made of the potential effect of the UK leaving the EU on EU nationals applying to (a) adopt or (b) foster vulnerable children.

There are no changes affecting those who can adopt or foster since these are based on residence rather than nationality. All EU nationals are encouraged to apply to the European Union Settlement Scheme to allow them to remain in the country and indeed they are encouraged to adopt or foster vulnerable children to provide a safe home.
