As fisheries management is devolved the information provided relates to England only.

Information on the costs associated with the training and recruitment of a Marine Enforcement Officer (MEO) is not held and will depend on a number of factors, including the location of and number of posts available at a particular time, the recruitment process undertaken and the on-going nature of training throughout an MEO’s employment.
