We recognise the scale of the challenge, and work is well underway to build the EU Settlement Scheme from scratch, with new processes, technology, rules and support for applicants. As is standard for government’s approach to delivery of programmes, we have in place project management tools designed to detect and mitigate risks, provide additional confidence and ensure safe delivery of the Scheme

We will be providing further detail on the Scheme in due course.
