Named Day

'Named day' questions only occur in the House of Commons. The MP tabling the question specifies the date on which they should receive an answer. MPs may not table more than five named day questions on a single day.

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, if he will set a date for commencement of those provisions of the Deregulation Act 2015 which relate to public rights of way.

The Stakeholder Working Group, which developed the recommendations for reform, produced a finely balanced set of proposals. We plan to implement the package in the first half of 2019, subject to Parliamentary time.
