The Government’s Clean Growth Strategy confirms that the Government’s ambition is to deploy carbon capture usage and storage (CCUS) at scale during the 2030s, subject to costs coming down sufficiently. The Government will publish a deployment pathway for CCUS in 2018, informed by the CCUS Cost Challenge Task Force, which will set out the steps needed achieve this ambition.
