Named Day

'Named day' questions only occur in the House of Commons. The MP tabling the question specifies the date on which they should receive an answer. MPs may not table more than five named day questions on a single day.

To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, what recent discussions she has had with the Secretary of State for Education on continuing UK participation in the Horizon 2020 Erasmus Plus schemes after the UK has left the EU.

Government departments are consulting with many stakeholders, as part of reviewing all EU funding schemes, to ensure that any ongoing funding commitments best serve the UK’s national interest.
