Human Trafficking: Children
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether she has made an assessment of the effectiveness of the introduction of Independent Child Trafficking Advocates in three early adopter sites; and if she will make a statement.

The Independent Child Trafficking Advocate service (ICTA) went live in the three early adopter sites on 30 January 2017 and it is therefore too early to assess its effectiveness.

The Home Office is conducting an assessment of the ICTA service in the three sites with oversight from an Independent Expert Advisory Panel. The assessment will collect data to monitor outcomes for children who receive an ICTA and consider how the service was implemented.
