Whilst the clearance of the camp in Calais is a matter for the French authorities, we are working closely to ensure that it is delivered as calmly as possible.

Our priority is to ensure the safety of children during the clearance and to ensure unaccompanied children eligible to come to the UK are transferred as quickly as possible.
