Economic Affairs Committee The Chairman of Committees moved that Lord Skidelsky be appointed a member of the Select Committee in place of Lord Currie of Marylebone, resigned. The motion was agreed to.
Justice and Security Bill [HL] Lord Wallace of Tankerness moved that the amendments for the Report stage be marshalled and considered in the following order:

Clauses 2 to 15
Schedules 2 and 3
Clause 16.
After debate, the motion was agreed to.
Defamation Bill Lord McNally moved that the bill be now read a second time. After debate, the motion was agreed to and the bill was committed to a Grand Committee.
Industry A question was asked by Lord Adonis and, after debate, answered by Lord Marland.
