UN sustainable development goals discussed in the Lords

On Thursday 17 October, members of the House of Lords debated the impact of conflict, extreme poverty and climate-related emergencies globally, and achieving the United Nations' sustainable development goals.

Debate

Lord McConnell of Glenscorrodale (Labour), former Prime Minister's Special Representative for Peacebuilding, put forward the debate.

This was a general debate. During debates, members put their experience to good use to discuss current issues and draw the government's attention to concerns.
