The Business and Trade Committee welcomes the first report of the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry published today. The recommendations of this report mirror much of what the Committee has called for – improvement of redress schemes, in particular the Horizon Shortfall Scheme, the need to speed up redress payments and the need for free, upfront legal advice to be available to all victims.
