Minute silence in honour of George Floyd

09 June 2020

The Speakers of both Houses have confirmed that Parliament will hold a minute’s silence on Tuesday 9 June at 11am, in memory of the death of George Floyd.

Racism has no place in Parliament, and we stand together in support of our black friends and colleagues both here and around the world.
