Urgent Question: detention centre at Yarl's Wood: 6 March 2018

Shadow Home Secretary, Diane Abbott, asked an Urgent Question in the House of Commons on the immigration detention centre at Yarl's Wood.

The Minister for Immigration, Caroline Nokes, responded on behalf of the Government and stated that the Government was committed to protecting the welfare and dignity of those in detention and will always set the highest standards to ensure the safety and well-being of detainees.
