MPs debated abuse and intimidation during the General Election campaign

MPs held a general debate on the abuse and intimidation of candidates and the public during the General Election campaign on Thursday 14 September.

Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State (Home Office), Sarah Newton opened the debate on behalf of the Government.

Shadow Deputy Leader of the House of Commons, Cat Smith, responded on behalf of the Opposition.
