Minister of State for Communities and Local Government, Alok Sharma, made a statement in the House of Commons on the regulation of property agents.
Alok Sharma made a call for evidence on protecting consumers in the letting and management agents market.
The statement was responded to by Shadow Secretary of State for Housing, John Healey, who called on the Government to act on Labour’s proposals to end the building of new leasehold homes and to cap rises in ground rents.
