Illumination of Parliament to mark 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II

At dusk on Thursday 21 April, the river frontage of the Palace of Westminster will be illuminated red, white and blue to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th birthday.  Parliament has both historic and ongoing links with the monarchy and we are delighted to mark this very special occasion in this way.

The Houses of Parliament will be lit from 20:00 on 21 April until dawn on 22 April.
