Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Eric Pickles, opened the continuing debate on the 2014 Budget, on the subject of Communities and Local Government, in the House of Commons on Monday 24 March 2014.
Shadow Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Hilary Benn, responded on behalf of the Opposition.
The debates following the 2014 Budget statement continue over three days on Thursday 20, Monday 24 and Tuesday 25 March. Each day focusses on a given topic.
At the end of the debate on Tuesday 25 March the Commons will be asked to approve a series of Ways and Means Resolutions. Generally the House will vote on a selection of these Resolutions.
