Clerk of the House of Commons and Chief Executive to retire

Mr Speaker made a statement in the House on Wednesday 30 April 2014 announcing the intention of retirement of the Clerk of the House at the end of August 2014.

When he leaves, Sir Robert Rogers, Clerk of the House and Chief Executive, will have completed forty-two years of service to the House of Commons, including more than ten years’ service as a Clerk at the Table.
