Three Commons committees to hold public evidence sessions

The Education, Treasury and Culture, Media and Sport committees will hold public evidence sessions on 28 July.

Education Committee

The Education Committee will take evidence on the responsibilities of the Secretary of State from;

Treasury Committee

The Treasury Committee will take evidence on Monetary Policy and Financial Stability from;

  • Charlie Bean, Deputy Governor, Bank of England
  • Paul Fisher, Executive Director, Markets, Bank of England
  • David Miles and Andrew Sentance, External Members of the Monetary Policy Committee, Bank of England
  • Paul Tucker, Deputy Governor, Bank of England
  • Andrew Bailey, Executive Director, Banking, and Chief Cashier, Bank of England

at 9:45am in the Thatcher Room, Portcullis House

Culture, Media and Sport Committee

The Culture, Media and Sport Committee will take evidence on the Channel 4 Annual Report from;

  • Lord Terry Burns GCB, Chairman, Channel 4
  • Anne Bulford, Chief Operating Officer, Channel 4
