The Children, Schools and Families Committee holds a one-off evidence session at 9.30am with Secretary of State, Ed Balls, and Permanent Secretary, David Bell.
The session is likely to cover his Department’s spending priorities, progress in making efficiency savings, and other matters raised in the Departmental Annual Report.
In the second part of the evidence session the Committee will question the Minister about the 21st Century Schools' White Paper, published in June 2009.
