On 10 July the House of Lords hosted a unique debate by over 150 young people from across the UK, to mark the leadership and community day of Shine Week, the Department for Children, Schools and Families’ national youth festival celebrating talent.
The event aimed to challenge negative stereotypes about young people and help to bridge the perceived gap between youth issues and Parliament.
