Lesson 1: The Work and Role of the House of Lords 

Introduces students to the work of the House of Lords and the principle of a two-chamber (‘bicameral’) system in a parliamentary democracy.

Lesson 2: Making an Entry

Helps students to form competition groups and begin developing their competition entry.


Use the worksheet to help you think about, develop and plan your arguments.
